Our Ethos

How we can help you.

Comprehensive care solutions and services tailored to your needs.

Providing a full-service approach, Multicare Medical specialises in creating environments that cater to individuals with complex disabilities and those who care for them. From the initial concept and room design to equipment installation, tailored product and moving and handling training, and ongoing maintenance, every step is handled by our in-house team of experts without using external contractors.

Whether adapting an entire facility, home, or a single room, we focus on delivering the most suitable equipment and solutions for individual needs, ensuring safe, accessible, and fully equipped spaces for optimal care.

Design.

Book an appointment for an experienced assessor to discuss your plans and objectives for your bathroom or facility. A no obligation objective analysis of your scheme will be issued, containing recommendations and suggestions on the most appropriate way forward.

A Multicare expert will advise on room layout and design and assist with the equipment specification that best suits your requirements, and the needs of your users.

You will be provided with detailed schematic and working drawings both in 2D and 3D to give you a clear idea of how your room will look. At this stage you will also be issued with a detailed quotation and specification enabling you to budget accurately.

Install.

Once the design has been agreed, Multicare can take care of the complete installation programme from start to finish for complete peace of mind.

The team can either liaise with your chosen contractor, or act as project managers to oversee the entire refurbishment to provide a turnkey project.

Following the installation, Multicare will commission all the equipment to the relevant legislation, providing you with a full operation and maintenance manual for the facility.

Train.

At Multicare we have a dedicated moving and handling assessor on hand for your training and assessment needs. With over 27 years’ experience working with and supporting children and adults with complex needs and disabilities, Kevin Sanders is the best in the business.

Available for on-site assessments and in-house group moving and handling training, Kevin provides expert advice and training to a range of clients. This includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Health Care Professionals, Care Homes, Schools, Colleges, and Day Care Centres, as well as support and advice for end users in residential settings.

Proper training will ensure all staff know how to correctly and safely use the equipment in your new hygiene room.

Maintain.

It’s important that you keep your room and equipment safe and in good working order.

Ceiling hoists require a service every 6 months under the LOLER regulations. All other specialist equipment will need an annual service. Multicare offer a range of options, including 3 and 5-year service and maintenance packages, so you never need to worry about your equipment.

You should also carry out simple weekly visual checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working order as well as full cleaning in line with other existing washroom and toilet facilities.
